Money Advice Service

The Money Advice Service helps people manage their money through their own free and impartial advice service. They also work in partnership with other organisations to help people make the most of their money. They are an independent service, set up by the Government.

Money advice

Whether you’re in need of information on benefits, pensions, retirement, choosing the right care services, insurance, mortgages, budgeting or anything money related, their free and impartial advice is available online, over the phone (Tel. 0800 138 7777) and by webchat, in printed guides, and face to face through a UK-wide network of Money Advisers.

Debt and borrowing advice

They work with partners to make debt advice easier and quicker to access, and to improve standards and quality across the sector. They are a major funder of free face-to-face debt advice across the UK.
