Society Launches Facebook Page

Monmouthshire Building Society is proud to unveil its long-awaited new Facebook page.
Our
Facebook page will provide customers and non-customers alike with
topical news, details of the Society’s competitive savings and mortgage
range and interesting community updates. The page also contains a
detailed timeline which gives a fascinating insight into the Society’s
145 year history with its deep roots in South Wales and links to both a
Welsh rugby legend and a real life knight.
Commenting on the
launch of the Society’s Facebook page, Chief Executive Andrew Lewis
said: “The Society acknowledges that customer behaviour is changing,
with increasingly more interaction taking place online. As a mutual
organisation, we are keen to maintain our position as a friendly,
approachable provider of mortgage and savings products, and our newly
launched Facebook page provides us with an ideal platform to connect
with our customers in a fresh, modern way.”
He continued: “Our
first step into the world of social media will allow our customers to be
among the first to hear exciting news about our competitive product
range, our commitment to the Help to Buy - Wales scheme, our ongoing
support for the local community and much much more.”
