The Society continues to strengthen its high-street presence with the relocation and upgrade of its branch within the Caldicot Shopping Centre.

The Caldicot branch has been relocated only a short distance from its former home to new premises at 27 Newport Road. The relocated branch now offers enhanced customer facilities such as improved disabled access, a suite of new private interview rooms, additional space and a more welcoming environment for all.

The same helpful staff team remain on hand to assist customers and assure a friendly and professional service at all times. The new branch will continue to offer a full mortgage advisory service and a competitive range of mortgage, savings and insurance products, all coupled with the personal approach to customer service that the Society is well known for.

The enhanced facilities and relocation of the Caldicot branch is the latest phase in the Society’s commitment to maintaining and improving its branch network across the South Wales region, to better service its growing customer base in that area.

Mr Andrew Lewis, Chief Executive of Monmouthshire Building Society, said, “Our existing Caldicot customer base has always proven immensely loyal and have contributed to the Society’s ongoing success. However, we believe there is untapped commercial potential for the branch, so relocating it to a more centrally located position within the Caldicot shopping centre will allow it to flourish even further as a popular provider of savings, mortgage and insurance products.”

He continued “We are proud that our new Caldicot branch will allow the Society to provide a more satisfying customer experience to both new and existing customers in the area.”
