I understand that this Decision in Principle form is not a mortgage application form and its submission does not constitute any form of mortgage offer or advice. As part of our Mortgage Service we can advise and make a recommendation for you after we have assessed your needs in full.   *

I agree to the Society performing a soft credit check to assess my suitability for a Mortgage Application.

This is not a full credit check, but an enquiry against your credit history. Only you will be able to see this on your credit file and will not affect your credit rating.

A full credit check will be carried out on application, which may highlight anything in your credit history that would affect the mortgage application.
