Staff across the Society’s branch and agency network celebrated Christmas Jumper Day on 12th December in aid of Save the Children.

Staff members donated £2 each to dress in casual clothing, and many of them wore their finest festive knitwear.

Save the Children is the world's leading independent organisation for children. They work in over 120 countries, saving children's lives, fighting for their rights and helping them to fulfil their potential.

Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day is now in its third year and has raised more than £1.6 million to date.

Last year, Save the Children reached over 143 million children through their work, including over 52 million children directly.

Chief Executive, Andrew Lewis, commented: “The Society was keen to take part in this year’s Christmas Jumper Day for the first time. The chance to have a little fun with our normal work attire is more than welcomed, especially with Christmas just around the corner, and this has the added bonus of raising money for a charity that does so much outstanding work for children throughout the world.”
