Society Supports Future Entrepreneurs

13 June 2014

Future Entrepreneur Awards

The University of South Wales held its fifth Future Entrepreneur Awards on 5th June 2014 at Cardiff City Hall.

The University’s Centre of Enterprise and School of Creative & Cultural Industries established the awards in 2009 to encourage entrepreneurship and enterprise among university students and graduates in Wales. The Society was pleased to sponsor the award for Best Sports Enterprise.

The Society is committed to supporting the social and cultural life of the communities in which it operates, and such support is given to a number of organisations and activities, from sport and music, to theatre and the environment.

Congratulations to this year’s winners, Active Valleys, a unique social enterprise that delivers festivals, tournaments and clubs, pictured here with William J. Carroll, Finance Director of Monmouthshire Building Society. We look forward to hearing more about the group’s entrepreneurial endeavours in the future!
