Business in the Community

5 December 2005

As part of our commitment to the community, staff from the Society recently undertook a project, through the Business in the Community 'Wales Cares' scheme. The project selected by the team was to completely transform a school gymnasium based at Malpas Court Primary School (Newport), built in 1952 - which was a desperately uninspiring environment for the children.

Collectively, the team spent many hours planning, three weekday evenings on preparatory work, and all day painting on Friday 25th November.

As you can see a transformation took place, for which the school were very grateful. The Society would like to thank all those involved for their contribution in helping 'make it happen' -it truly is amazing what can be achieved by teamwork.
