As always, the Foundation is happy to accept applications for smaller amounts of funding, but for those organisations who would like to purchase a more expensive item(s) but perhaps lack the funds to do so, then this is an ideal opportunity to try and make your wish come true.

Application forms, which include eligibility criteria, are available by clicking here or from any Monmouthshire Building Society branch or agency office. All applications for funding must be received by Wednesday 20th February 2013.

Since its launch in 2000, Monmouthshire Building Society Charitable Foundation has contributed over £100,000 to more than 200 local organisations and charities. In the last financial year alone, the Foundation has provided support to 24 local organisations. This represents a significant contribution to local communities across South East Wales by a local organisation.

Penny Reeves, Chairman of the Monmouthshire Building Society Charitable Foundation, said, “For twelve years, the Foundation has bestowed a significant amount of money to a wide spectrum of worthwhile organisations and causes. We are now delighted to have the opportunity to bestow a more substantial financial award than normal to one lucky local organisation who we consider to have a worthy need. We invite any local organisation who meets our eligibility criteria to apply for this award of up to £5,000.”

The Foundation also welcomes any donations or bequests from individuals. The more funding received, the more local organisations and charities will benefit.
