Whatever your Question, Come and Talk to our Friendly Mortgage Advisers

Whether you’re looking to take your first steps onto the property ladder, or if you’re moving house and need a new mortgage, or if you have any other questions regarding the mortgage process, then you can find out the answers to many of your questions from one of our advisers during Mortgage Advice Week.

Mortgage Advice Week, which is being held across the Society’s entire branch network, offers you the opportunity to ask our qualified advisers any questions you may have about the house purchase process such as:

  • Can I reduce my monthly mortgage payments by switching my mortgage?
  • How much will it cost me to switch my mortgage?
  • Fixed rate, variable, discount – what do they all mean?
  • Can I borrow money for a loft conversion or extension?
  • Can I take my mortgage into retirement?
  • Can I pay my mortgage off early?
A mortgage adviser will try to see you straight away where we have an in-house adviser, otherwise we will arrange a call-back or provide you with an appointment to discuss your questions at a later date.

If you’re unable to visit your local Society branch, you can also speak to an adviser over the phone by calling 01633 844 351 from 9am-8pm Monday to Friday (from 10am on a Wednesday) or from 9am-4pm on a Saturday.

Commenting on Mortgage Advice Week, Chief Executive, Andrew Lewis said: “Mortgage Advice Week provides an open, accessible opportunity for our customers to understand the often complex mortgage procedure. Our friendly advisers are looking forward to meeting new people and helping to ensure that as many people as possible are equipped with the information they need to make informed decisions regarding their mortgage requirements.”

Whatever your question about mortgages, call in and see us during Mortgage Advice Week to speak to one of our advisers.
