Monmouthshire Building Society is proud to be a mutual organisation, owned by and run for the benefit of our members. Our members are the driving force behind everything we do. Our values make us who we are and, to uphold our mutual commitment to our members, we are pleased to announce five key values that lie at the very heart of our organisation.

The Society’s values have been defined as:

We commit to consistently providing services which are more friendly, personal, efficient and flexible than those of our main competitors.

We listen to our customers and ensure that, in a fast changing world, our products and services continue to match their requirements.

Financial Security

We ensure that the financial strength and security built up over many years are maintained for the long-term benefit of present and future members.

Community Support

We recognise as a mutual organisation the benefits of actively supporting the local communities in which we operate.

Fair Treatment

We strive to treat all customers fairly, balancing the interests of investing and borrowing customers as equitable as possible within the framework of market forces.
