Background and Career
Marian is an experienced Non-Executive Director and board advisor with a strong track record across the financial services sector. She was awarded the British Empire Medal in the King’s Honours List 2024 for services to business.

Her previous executive roles include Director at Thomas Carroll Group and Sales Manager at NFU Mutual. She has also served as a Non-Executive Director at Cirencester Friendly Society. In addition to her NED roles, Marian is an ambassador for Women on Boards UK and runs a successful consultancy business and property partnership.

Skills and Experience
Marian is dual-qualified as both a Chartered Insurance Broker and Chartered Insurer. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.

Marian is proud to serve as Chair of Monmouthshire Building Society and remains firmly committed to our members, ensuring their interests are at the heart of the Society’s strategic direction and decision-making.
