Mathew Llewellyn
Newport Branch Manager
Mathew Llewellyn is one of the branch managers that looks after the General Client Accounts at Monmouthshire Building Society.
He’s been managing the Newport branch of the Building Society for nearly four years now and has spent more than a decade in financial services.
A native of Abergavenny, Mathew currently lives in Tredegar and is kept busy by his son, cat and two dogs.
When he’s not helping people with their finances, you’ll find Mathew walking up and around the mountains of Wales and Scotland or jumping on his mountain bike.
As one of the team who handles the General Client Accounts for Monmouthshire Building Society he takes great pride in working with some of Wales’ longest established legal firms and helping them and their clients.
“It’s such a rewarding job” Mathew said. “No two days are the same as it’s so varied. I get to work with the public and small to medium sized business, all who appreciate the personal touch we are able to provide here at the Building Society. That’s what makes this job great, people are people no matter what job they are in and they are looking for help and reassurance from a real person, not an online robot.”
