Society celebrates 150th year by hosting BSA Local and Regional Conference
Monmouthshire Building Society teamed up with the Building Societies Association, also celebrating its 150th year, to host the BSA Local and Regional Conference for 2019.
The Society was honoured to welcome our counterparts from other local and regional Building Societies to the Celtic Manor Resort on Thursday the 28th of February and Friday the 1st of March.
The theme of the conference was Mutuality in a Digital World, and speakers from organisations including Nationwide, EY and Deloitte examined the relationship between Building Societies and the latest digital technology.
As the conference took place over St David’s Day, the Society celebrated Welsh culture at the conference dinner with a performance from Only Men Aloud and an after-dinner speech from Eddie Butler.
