We're Branching into Communities

Our new Branching into Communities programme is designed to frame our established community and charitable work and will introduce some fresh initiatives over the next 12 months.

Branching into Communities will focus on ideas and projects that champion colleague and community wellbeing, support inclusion and diversity and create sustainable environments.

This week are celebrating the launch of a brand-new initiative, our Branch Sponsorship fund, created to support grassroots and community projects in our communities.

Maria Saunders, Branch Network Manager for the Society said, ‘The branch sponsorship initiative is an amazing opportunity for the branch network to invest wholeheartedly in our local communities. Our branches are delighted to be able to make a tangible contribution and investment locally and we’re excited to follow the stories and journeys of the successful applicants over the coming year.’

If you’re part of a group or organisation that might benefit from our new fund, call into your local Branch and ask about the Branch Sponsorship fund.

This is an exciting time for the Society as we celebrate the contributions made in our communities by our members and colleagues through on going fundraising, donations and volunteering.

We’ll be expanding our Branching into Communities programme over the coming year and we’ll be celebrating a very special birthday in August as our Charitable Foundation turns 21.
