Monumental Year for Monmouthshire Building Society’s Charitable Foundation!
Founded in 2000 the Charitable Foundation supports local organisations and charities in South Wales and the South West of England.
In 2020, the Foundation donated a staggering £16,231.10 to local organisations and charities. These donations made a massive impact on local communities when it was needed the most. The Foundation also celebrated its 20th Birthday and surpassed the £300,000 mark in total donations!
Since 2000, the Charitable Foundation has contributed £301,115.86 to 504 local organisations and charities. This funding has provided charities and organisations the ability to impact people from all walks of life.
The Charitable Foundation looks to continue its success in 2021 and provide funding to support local organisations and charities in South Wales and the South West of England.
Michael Lane, Monmouthshire Building Society’s Charitable Foundation Chairman commented, “I am particularly delighted that the Society’s Charitable Foundation was able to support so many great causes both in 2020 and during the previous twenty years. These are extremely testing times and the many organisations and charities that we assist, in turn support the needs of some of the most vulnerable members of society.”

All applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis by the Board of Trustees.
Submit your application by 16th September 2021 to be considered in the next round of funding.
