Mortgage Calculator - Holiday Let

Our Holiday Let calculator allows you to enter the total loan amount you wish to borrow to work out the mininum annual amount of rent required from the property. Alternatively, you can enter the estimated annual rental income to calculate the maximum loan amount we are likely to consider lending on the property.

The Society bases its Holiday Let affordability criteria on payments calculated on an interest-only basis, irrespective of whether or not you opt for a repayment mortgage.

For house purchases a Holiday letting Agent letter to be provided confirming weekly rent in low, medium and high season. Average take of these three and multiplied by 30 to give a yearly figure.

For remortgage of existing holiday let - if managed by a Holiday Letting Agent, the Agent to provide a written breakdown of the last year's rental income. If not managed by a Holiday Letting Agent, evidence of last year's rental income to be provided by the applicant. Actual rental income for the past year to be used in full.
